The optimal brace for each case
Which brace is the right one for each case? The therapist selects the nail correction brace which corresponds to the diagnosis. The active adhesive brace by podofix is particularly suited for thinner nails and less severe cases of ingrown nails.
3TO's wire brace and the combined wire/adhesive brace 'COMBIped' are hooked under the nail on one or both sides and are therefore more effective.
Almost all cases can be corrected with these braces, from ingrown nails to severely curled nails. However, this 3TO brace requires special training, whereas both the other brace types can be administered without training.
